Mr. Styyles has become Mr. Do It All in the fashion industry within the last few years. To Mr. Styyles, fashion means the opportunity to express oneself through artistic, creative ability. Fashion to him means having the opportunity to challenge the concept and vision of how fashion should be explored without hesitation or doubt. Teronce Styyles is a fashion guru that started on his journey in the fashion industry in 2002. He started as a model for a local modeling organization in Baltimore, after a few years with the organization, he decided to spread his fashion wings and try his talent as a Wardrobe Stylist which he found to be his hidden talent that he didn’t know existed. After many comments and reviews about his work as a Wardrobe Stylist it was confirmed to be another career aspiration. He is also a Runway Instructor for a Modeling School and has taken on the role as a Fashion Director for this magazine. As a person involved in the fashion industry you must have the eye for the hottest and latest designs, designers, models, ability to give wardrobe styling advice, knowledge of runway techniques and the ability to network with other professionals in the industry.
Fashion has become a state of mind for Mr. Styyles not just a reason for looking fabulous. The definition of fashion could mean so many things to so many people in such a short period of time. To Mr. Styyles it means more than just a definition but a way of life and purpose if you are the kind of person that eat, sleep and breathe the industry. Mr. Styyles’ vision as a professional in the industry is for both males and females to enhance confidence and self-esteem and learn to maximize personal style. He believes that anyone can take a piece of the fashion industry and make their own. Even if you are fashionably challenged, THERE IS A PLACE FOR YOU.
As a Creative Director for his first fashion show, entitled “Clothes Minded” was a gift and vision that he felt needed to be expressed within the fashion industry. The reason for the title “Clothes Minded” is one he felt that Baltimore is very closed-minded when it comes to quality entertainment, fashion, unity and the ability to support people of the arts. The second reason is to display the creative talent and gift of various designers from different states. He wanted to bring a New York feel to Baltimore so he could open the minds of those who are “CLOTHES MINDED”. He is embarking on his next fashion show scheduled to premiere on Sunday, June 29, 2008 entitled The “F” Word Fashion Show another journey in the fashion industry. Mr. Styyles next venture is to start a Runway Boot Camp for those individuals that are interested in the modeling/fashion industry.
