Just Another (by Jove)

 Mami, you're beautiful…

Beyond words…

Beyond the curves of your body carved from marble stone
I thank God for not allowing me to stay alone
In The Garden…

See, I was starving…
Serving my purpose yet unfulfilled
And it was in His will
To take a piece of myself
And create you…

Wouldn't be mad if he had kept you for himself…
Because something so Heavenly
Should never be
Living in purgatory with me…

My queen…

Let's feast on nectar and ambrosia
As I massage your soles, your toes
And your eyes close
In a sign of relaxation…

Relax, mami…

You needn't be timid nor tense with me…
Because I fully intend to forget the past
Humbly unwrap the present
And plant the roots of my future within you…
Let my future children swim within you…
Imagine the control
You'll have on my soul
Knowing part of my life grows within you…

I've been to many places…
Seen many faces…
Memories I try to erase and through it all
You've stood beside me…

Feet firmly planted in reality…
Head held high amongst the clouds of fantasy…
And never once did you condemn me for feeding you pipe dreams
Instead of giving your temple the nourishment it deserves…

So, take a sip of these words…

Let the flavor dance across your taste buds…
Before sliding ever so slowly down your throat…
And if the libation doesn't warm you like summer sunshine
Wear me as a coat…

Rest in my embrace
Until amazing grace
Allows you to be free
From taunt of Pharisees
And false prophets with borrowed prophecies…

Play on one accord with me…
And let the melody of our love making calm the angry seas…

You've calmed the anger in me…
And I want to be the lover and friend that you so humanly need…
But, I can't do that
If when you look at me
All you see…

Is "just another n----"
