Deadly Fashion Sin #1: Vanity

The excessive belief that one’s ability in the fashion industry should be recognized on a consistent basis; believing the individual is more superior than GOD; not giving praise to the higher power for blessings and opportunity in the fashion industry; no understanding of how to remain humble as stardom reaches a new level.

Deadly Fashion Sin #2:  Jealousy

A model’s desire to be in the limelight of another model because of insecurities, looks, achievement, goals, no confidence or self esteem.

Dwelling in the mistakes of the past instead of living in the present and looking forward to the future…

Deadly Fashion Sin #3:  Stinginess

Models not encouraging, assisting or supporting their colleagues in the fashion industry; keeping information and tips for themselves; allowing another model to go astray instead of leading them down a path of excellence.

Deadly Fashion Sin #4:  Obsession

Disconnecting with what a model has been raised to believe; trying to be a perfect model, not taking care of the mind, body and soul in an appropriate matter, i.e. body can be obsessed with being thin instead of embracing the type of body GOD has blessed a model with, mind can be exposed with negative energy and peer pressure from other models, family and friends, and soul can be destroyed with the combination of the body and mind.

Deadly Fashion Sin #5:  Resentment

Dwelling in the mistakes of the past instead of living in the present and looking forward to the future; beating oneself because of bad performances or presentation of self; not learning from one’s mistake and becoming defensive when one criticizes ability as a model; becoming disruptive or unprofessional when an altercation occurs with a colleague in the industry.

A model’s desire to be in the limelight of another model because of insecurities…

Deadly Fashion Sin #6:  Indulgence

The desire to want and need everything that comes a model’s way; not giving other models the opportunity to enjoy and embrace the fabulous life of being a model; allowing the industry to take over your life and getting a swollen head; not allowing time to realize what has been presented and given to oneself.

Deadly Fashion Sin #7:  Sluggishness

Thinking that everything is supposed to be handed to you on a sliver platter; not giving any effort with your profession as a model; no spiritual, mental or physical work; thinking someone will do your job for you; not learning your craft and not staying consistent in your job as a model.
