Fashion Focus on Jay Manuel

In this fashion article I’m going to focus on the fashion of Jay
Manuel. Most of you may know him as Mr. Jay from the popular modeling
reality show America’s Next Top Model. Jay Manuel is the art director
for the photo shoots that the models are challenged on each and every
week, as well as a make-up artist for the show. Since Jay is well known
for his talents as a make-up artist, he has launched his new line of
cosmetics called Manual Override. Along with his work on America’s Next
Top Model, he is currently the host of Style’s new makeover series
"Style Her Famous."
Aside from all of Jay Manuel’s endeavors in make-up, television and
directing photo shoots, he has his own unique style of fashion. As a
fashion & beauty expert he has been seen on the covers of the most
celebrated fashion magazines and on the runways of the industry’s top
designers. He has built a career on calculated risk taking, extreme good
taste and an exquisite eye for what the public wants next.
Mr. Jay never ceases to amaze the television audience with his over the top style when he appears on Top Model. Jay’s signature look is his dyed platinum hair and his fashion forward style, which usually includes form fitting designer shirts, blazers, jeans, slacks, pointed toe shoes and host of other fierce garments. Jay is definitely a fashionista in the industry, I’m sure there are a lot of men who mimic or would love to mimic Mr. Jay’s style of fashion.
The main reason I chose Jay Manuel is because I simply adore the fact that he is comfortable enough with himself to take fashion risks and dismiss any comments or negativity the paparazzi may give him. I’m sure in 2007 he has many more styles and looks that the viewing audience and entertainment world are not ready for.
