Food For Thought

The eternal search for a good meal is a journey filled with surprise selections, various plates, random servers and always new locations. If the stomach is truly the way to the male heart then food has been my love interest for a long time. Prepare you taste buds and follow me.

Eggspectations is a stop I happen to frequent as often as I can. This restaurant might seem to be tucked away inside Columbia, MD but it is well worth the drive. I discovered it during a last-minute lunch while attending  a work function and it definitely rounded off the week. I immediately spread word of this great locale to as many of my friends as I possibly could. Of course, I was more than happy to accompany them on their first trips.

A wide range of selections is what will keep your mouth watering time and time again but the seasonal menu offered is what really holds on to your interests. You never know what to expect but rest assured it will be good. The latest offerings include pumpkin cheesecake and shrimp salad mixed with fresh fruit ... Not a big dessert fan you say? That's alright; I won't hold it against you. There is a great collection of salads, tender chicken, fish and even breakfast food. You can't expect to go to a place called Eggspectations and not find breakfast.

The greatest joy is not having to debate over skipping dessert or grabbing an apron and washing dishes. Most of the meals you can order fall well below the $20 boundary. As a matter of fact, I can't recall paying more than $15 for any one item. With prices like that you can double your order and have something to eat later, but that's just me.

I advise you to stop by Eggspectations as soon as you can and keep looking for a location near you. From the appropriate egg-themes found throughout the building to the courteous and helpful staff, I have yet to have a bad dining experience. Grab a group of friends and go have a wonderful time. It's just that simple, the way any dining-out experience should be.
