A Colorful Life

It’s time to put away
the spaghetti straps and halter-tops and trade them in for blazers and layers.
Just the thought of the word layers gets me overly excited! This is most
definitely a way to keep the creative juices flowing. If you’re like most of
the gang, color isn’t something that jumps out at you when you’re perusing
through racks of clothes. We opt for the “anything will match with this black
shirt” notion and head to our favorite shoe store to find some black or brown
shoes or boots that will match everything in our closet. Life isn’t always
about convenience. How about convenience AND a fashion statement all in one for
the fall? Let’s get started, shall we?
Unfortunately, neon colors are making a big noise right about now and I’m not too sure I got that memo. Needless to say, if you’re going to do it, just introduce the neon to a friendly gray color and see how you feel about that. I really can’t touch the neon family too much because that isn’t my cup of tea. What I can do is introduce you to royalty - royal colors that is. They are so rich and scream elegance and comfort at the same time. This won’t be as big as trying out the new mustard tones or jumping into forest greens. Royals can be found in numerous trends such as scarves, sweater dresses, jackets and accessories. Those few things alone can be switched up for work, dinner, and play. Trust me, you can’t mess this up. So when shopping, go ahead to the shoe store first, Cinderella, and buy those slippers. Then stroll around your makeshift palace, which is your mall, and shop royally!
