Bird’s Song

One of life’s most simplest pleasures, is the bird’s song,

 

I’ve learned to pay closer attention to it

 

Have even grown to crave it,

 

The precious bird’s song

 

It enhances my focus

 

And re-centers my soul

 

Thank you, song bird

 

For you motivate me-

 

When I hear you sing,

 

I know, too-

 

So can I.

 

You enlighten me and open me up

 

For it’s when I hear your song in the early morning

 

That I realize I have been granted grace and another opportunity
