Love and Happy Endings

You don’t know how much you meant to me,

It will be the coldest winter without you here, but summer will come and I will be happy.

The sun will shine again and my smile will be luminous.

You were my life; life is but a short process.

Life is just superficial homo-sapiens trying to find that ending.

Love, of course, is that ending. It’s what everyone wants but few actually obtain.

How many movies do we watch and novels do we read to see people fall in love and live happily ever after.

I’m here to tell you love is overrated; happily ever-after is outdated…

It’s a fantasy that will not come true unless the pages of the book stops turning.

But in life the pages of the book always turn.

People get over it and keep reading and living.

Some ignore the pages and try to rip them out, because they’re so determined to find that love, that happily ever after.

You see, happily is never after. What does that mean?

I don’t know and I really don’t care, because look at me. I’m a casualty of my own stubbornness.
