Who’s The More Judgmental Sex?
Written by: Chenita “Infinite Apex” Dickerson
Of course, while presenting this question to males and females, they each pointed the finger at the opposite sex. But, surprisingly, they each also had remarks for their own gender, as well.
We often judge ourselves based on very superficial, unimportant thoughts that only we care about. We judge the fact that we believe that others are judging us based on the same unimportant information.
Males overwhelmingly said females judge each other and males out loud and verbally. A few males also said that men often judge each other and themselves based on comparison of other males; however, they usually keep their judgmental thoughts to themselves. Females said that men judge women, but that women judge women, also.
Of course, while presenting this question to males and females, they each pointed the finger at the opposite sex.
It could be considered a tie. But, we all know that verbally, mentally and any place in the middle… women win this coin toss. We wonder why a man is with a woman because of how she dresses or wears her hair. We often judge ourselves based on very superficial, unimportant thoughts that only we care about. We judge the fact that we believe that others are judging us based on the same unimportant information. We judge a man based on his shoes, be it the condition or its size. His wallet is judged even before the first date. If he is late, he must be cheating. If he has a female friend, they must be ****ing. If he hangs out with the boys and he likes you to touch his butt, he’s got to be gay. She smiled at him. Nope. Don’t trust her… It’s woman’s intuition, maybe, or just pure unadulterated judgment.
