Okay, so you know darn well your head should be in those school books, and not smitten by Cupid’s arrow. But, it’s true… Yes, it’s true that teenagers find love, too (at least, that’s what they believe). And it’s personally one of the best periods of life to learn how to make judgment of his/ her characters and deciding your likes & dislikes in a potential spouse. It’s not what it’s portrayed to be on your favorite shows like “90210” or “Gossip Girl”, but you will learn these things throughout your growth spurt.
Almost every teen in high school (some their first year in college) eXperiences their first dosage of “puppy love” and becomes aware of the ups-and-downs of a relationship. Although parents believe their child doesn’t know right from wrong & they’re naive to adult situations, it’s likely that teens know eXactly what they are getting themselves into. I mean, this is 2010… not 1960!

Meet Ashley, a high school sophomore who is into Theatre Arts & isn’t your typical standard beauty… but, she is intriguing & mysterious. She has a crush on Dominic, the senior quarterback of the school’s football team, and he has a reputation of “using & abusing” the younger female students of the school. Ashley is aware of the negative things said about Dominic, so she doesn’t try to initiate anything. Dominic actually finds an interest in Ashley after seeing how she played hard to get after he approached her, but Ashley feels like it’s a hoax & doesn’t have any idea how compatible they are to each other and if they would even have anything in common.
The pair began to date, and Ashley becomes curious about their compatibility & she researches the computer to see the astrological matches. She is a Taurus, and he is a Gemini. The research study shows that the match is incompatible and that the Taurus should run away from the Gemini, as quick as possible. The study describes the Taurus as a person who is a passionate, honest lover and a laid back person who is the total opposite of a Gemini. Of course, the opposites attract… but the Gemini won’t necessarily be as stable as a Taurus. In terms of the research, Ashley will be consistent; while Dominic may not, which may eXplain why he doesn’t care to ever be in a relationship with anyone because he gets bored quickly. Ashley is scared because of what she read, but he insists that the books are “hand-written items” that shouldn’t dictate their relationship. Ashley finally gives in, and he was right… they are now in their second year of the relationship & things are going steady!
Astrology definitely eXists, but if you are a young teen looking for love, don’t look in the astrology books thinking it’s true. Only the Creator that’s bigger than you & I knows the answers to our questions. He will ensure you who is the guy/ girl for you!
