eXcape the matriX Opened a Door

It feels just like yesterday when Raven approached me about 'eXcape the matriX', but in reality… it was over five years ago. I was a naïve nineteen year old that thought an online magazine would consist of writing strictly music reviews & doing things my way; boy, was I wrong! "ETM" taught me the art of deadlines, communication, versatility, conducting interviews & assertiveness. Without the years of experience with the magazine, I don't believe I would have been mentally nor skillfully prepared to write my recently released novel "Nice Guys Don't Finish Last".
It is sad to say goodbye to the magazine, my alias ^Northernstar* & the 'ETM" family, but when one door closes… another opens. I will miss assigning and receiving articles from the staff & the positive feedback from the readers. I love you all!
