The iPad:
Is It Worth It?
Written by: ^Northernstar*
Apple is a highly successful brand that has produced some of your favorites, such as the Mac, iPod, iPhone and many more.
The newest creation is the iPad, which is a wireless portable computer that enables you to surf through the web, check your Facebook, & send pictures to your loved ones. The iPad is developed with a high-resolution, .7-inch LED-backlit display screen with IPS (in-plane switching) technology and has a wide, 178° viewing angle to flip side-to-side & upside down.
But, the question is: “What separates this from the popular iPhone?” It offers the same qualities as the aforementioned eXcept the ability to talk on the phone. I’m sure many people would be appreciative to carry around this hand-held product that doesn’t require any wires, but Apple just wanted to find another entity to rip money out of the buyer’s pockets. The starting price of an iPad ranges from $499 to $829, and that is definitely a lot of money that could go towards rent & some bills. When asked if the iPad was the worth the price, these were the answers by many anonymous customers who actually bought it:
“You guys would probably buy a product from Apple if they crapped in their fanny metal cases and called it an iFart…” –Anonymous Apple Customer
“Of course, it is worth it. The iPad is not a disappointment like some people say. The iPad is a new way to read books and play games. You will be able to do stuff in the iPad you were never able to do in other devices. It is worth it… End of discussion.”
“I think the iPad is just an iPhone with a bigger screen... After watching videos on the iPad, it includes nothing more than an iPhone apart from: Slightly adjusted built in apps, Larger screen, iBooks, iWork, and it’s better technology e.g. it’s faster. But, even after what I've mentioned above, I think it is worth the money.”
“The iPad is not worth it. It can't play flash, so 75% of games’ pictures and videos are not viewable. And the iPhone was even better in the respect that it has a camera. So, the iPad is really an over-sized iPod touch. You guys would probably buy a product from Apple if they crapped in their fanny metal cases and called it an iFart.”

“Who care about those features? Flash is becoming obsolete. Can you imagine holding a small computer in New York, taking a picture of Lady Liberty? That's how it would be with the iPad. Why would you want a camera? Seems too clumsy. And why would you want USB? What is the point? You have the other fancy thingy.”
So… is the iPad worth buying?! That’s a matter of opinion, but if the public continues to buy Apple’s product… they will always have new creations.
