Astro-Foodology:
You Eat What You Are!

Most people turn to astrology with questions about love, marriage, career, health, etc. But, rarely does one think to consult an astrologer when deciding what to eat or what to cook for who’s coming to dinner and how to creatively spice up a new dietary regimen. It is, indeed, a little known fact that the centuries old interpretive science of astrology has long standing and traditional ties with foods, vegetation, and herbs.

 

With more people getting attracted towards astrology and going by the astrological predictions for every move, the science and very much art of Astro-Foodology provides a new prospective on food and its preparation via a highly detailed and personalized culinary adventure through the twelve birth signs. Each one of the twelve signs of Zodiac symbolizes one of the four planetary elements with three each for each representational element: Fire, Earth, Air and Water. While Fire signs tend to like hot and spicy foods, Earth signs lean more towards the substance and ingredients that are used to make the meal. Air signs really enjoy an interactive and social element when eating and the Water signs are lovers of deep feelings and emotional connections being associated with the food they chose to ingest, therefore how they feel will affect what they eat and what they eat will affect how they feel. So, let us begin to break it down like a culinary compound.

 

When it’s all cooked and done, I guess you really are what you eat; yet, from your stomach to the stars, maybe in reality you actually eat what you are…

 

While Aries do, indeed, like it hot, spicy, and fast, they’ll lose interest if not engaged in the eating process and dash. Yet, Taurus is a no-nonsense Earth sign that loves the finest quality in their food. Unless your Taurus is a vegetarian or vegan, only a premium cut of meat prepared to perfection will do, followed by fine wine and sweets to consume. Now, with Geminis, it’s not so much about the food, but more the conversation and, because their personalities are so versatile, new recipes and dishes are a very welcomed sensation. On to the sign of the moment and this one is deep.

 

See, Cancers are the most emotionally attached to what they eat, so the more love and care applied to their food’s preparation, the more their level of gratitude and appreciation as they sink into their seat to dine. Plus, they love being around lots of family at dinner time. On the flip side, Leos love the grand and eXtravagant for sustenance-based situations, so it’s not only the food, but also the presentation that aids in their eating elation. Verses the Virgo, who tends to naturally separate the real or organic from synthetic and fake, so the more health-based the recipe, the more pleased they’ll usually be with what the cook creates.

 

On to Libra, always reveling in life’s beauty, plus balance and how they connect with others. Yes, this is certainly the truth, so something well-presented that they can share with another is more than pleasing proof. Plus, throw in some pudding ‘cause out of all the signs they have the sweetest tooth. And Scorpio is traditionally a lover of great eats of many types, so the more on the menu, the more they’ll like. Very similarly to Sagittarius who’s always on the move and ready to try something new when it comes to food. Capricorn gets into the whole eXperience involved in the meal’s invention and, just like the food, will eat up all the attention. So, to complement the food, complements about them are a good thing to mention.

Then, there’s Aquarius who prefers a group setting while always unpredictable in their level of creativity and love. So, supply their tongue with a twist or palatable surprise for their taste buds. Finally with Pisces you can’t really go wrong with fish. So, seafood of any kind they’ll usually enjoy inside almost any dish, yet very flexible in their personally preferable food tastes and types. So, don’t assume you always know what they do and don’t like because it tends to change along with the details of their daily life.

 

So, from the stars to your stomach, the reasons for the seasons seem to be very deep. So, when it’s all cooked and done, I guess you really are what you eat; yet, from your stomach to the stars, maybe in reality you actually eat what you are…
